Hi Everyone- We now have a budget line to capture donations for a vehicle. We have a personal account set up in American funds also, so beteen donations and our private funds we hope to pick up a vehicle in March. We have been told that for safety reasons we need to purchase a vehicle as soon as possible after landing. We have set a budget that allows us 2 months to look around. In any event if you are considering one time donations then directing them to our vehicle fund would be appreciated.

We are struggling with our emotions off and on at this time and covet your prayers for us as we move into the final months of preparation.

Hi Friends

This site is being prepared so that we can communicate better with you while in Guatemala. It is our hope to travel there to begin a 4 year term during the first week in January of 2007. We had a funding setback that forced us into cancelling our October 20th travel date. However are hopeful that sufficient long term commitments will come through this fall to allow us to Move in January. We tried to send a video a few days ago and the file was too big so we are defaulting to a blog site to make it a little easier for you to keep up to speed on what we are doing.

Here are some key points for Sept. 2006:

1) Our move has been posponed from October 20th to January 4th of 2007.

2) If you are considering supporting us now is the time to commit to sustained monthly amounts. Call us at 1-403-563-5199 for details.

3) Opening cerimonies for the William Cornelius Vocational Training Center are during the second week in January and on January 14th the English ceremony will take place. We hope to video tape this for "the record"

4) Thank you for your support which will help the Children of Guatemala.
