Hi Everyone

October has been a busy month of planning and preparation.

During the Thanksgiving weekend we attended the 25th anniversary and mortgage burning celebration in Grande Cache at the Cornerstone Mountain Assembly. It was wonderful to visit with old and new friends! While there, we were able to make a presentation on our mission to Guatemala.

We are in the process of renewing our passports and obtaining some additional immunization shots. It is our intention to purchase tickets for Guatemala in November and we expect to fly there in January of 2007. Additional monthly commitments are needed and we are trusting the Lord that by the time we leave, additional commitments will be in place. Please pray for us regarding additional churches to present in and for individuals in my work field to step up and consider supporting our efforts in helping the underpriviledegd and marginalized in Guatemala.

Our church is sponsoring another short term missions team to Guatemala and Sheila has been busy working with others to coordinate the supplies that will be carried down with the team. We will not be accompanying the team, however hope that some of our supplies can be transported with them.
